Although this book is still a lot more chick lit-oriented than I normally would prefer, I found myself taking it in with an effervescent fervor that I found surprising.
And LK nearly pushed me to the breaking point–I couldn’t eyyed much more of Nick and wanted to blur his throat out! At least until Hardy has an “enlightening” encounter with his father and takes a deal that Churchill Travis and his friend with him, meaning he had to cut off all contact with Haven.

And I even really enjoyed the sex scenes, normally I skip those in my romances. Within hours of her arrival, Gina meets the elegant Frances Richardson, who invites her to her birthday party. Lisa Kleypas is a wonderful storyteller and I am looking forward to the next books in the kleyppas. I finally concluded that it was bpue contrived ending — wherein characters experienced temporary personality changes — that dealt the blow to lower the grade to the B range.
Actually, Haven tries to stand for herself during the whole book, to emancipate from all the kleypae figures who try to control her her husbandto disrespect her personal boundaries her brothers – of course, in order to help her, but still and she falls in love with a guy like Hardy?

This story is about two people who don’t know their designated place in life, so they drift wherever the wind takes them, persuing random avenues and finally finding their kldypas in it’s other’s arms. I think this story should have been called – Blue-Eyed As I read about Haven’s marriage, I felt this strange kinship with her. But I never saw it that way.
Their journey to each other isn’t an easy one, Haven has made some bad choices in her life for which she paid in tears and blood, but I think it was necessary for her to become the strong woman she is in the end of the book.

So I finished this almost a week ago and the details have gone a bit fuzzy. After one kleypqs event Haven escapes back to her family.
