Most of, no, the whole book is about war between the Titans and the Olympians. I mean she is this great character who I really like, but she annoyed me in this one. Calliope’s character development was a strong point in the story; she has become a great villain.
So then why does she keep getting jealous over Henry’s previous girls when she keeps checking out other guys? A great fun read, but I could do without the annoying laments of unrequited love. Looking for beautiful books? View all 5 comments. Alice in Zombieland Gena Showalter.
Goddess Interrupted by Aimee Carter 52 31 Godfess 07, This is my very first one star review. I’m so in love with this series. For about 3 chapters straight as a rough estimateI was a blubbering mess and wanted to reach out for Kate, give her a massive hug and cry together! We’ll be able to get in his head!!
Unlike Katy, at least he wasn’t married to anyone then. Nope, couldn’t fall hopeless in love with it even though I wanted to oh so badly! I felt like I was right there with her feeling so excited to see everyone, especially Henry. How is allowing Kate to suffer for strategic value somehow better than acting under duress because someone interrhpted life is at stake?

As much as he loved Kate, as much as he had managed to move on from intfrrupted first wife and accept that she would never love him as he had loved her, the pain Persephone had caused him had never fully left him. Quotes from Goddess Interrupted. Even during the centuries they had managed a cordial friendship during their marriage, she had never purposely gotten so close to him.
After just finishing the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series where every aspect of the Greek god’s role in humanity was described and fleshed out, I felt like The Goddess Test’s interpretation was never explained and fell short.
As much as I enjoyed The Goddess Test the first book in Aimee Carter’s seriesmy experience reading Goddess Interrupted was very different from when I read the first book. Because this is HUGE. Oh my god, I thought I was done being angry about this book. While the first book, Goddess Testwas structured around the possible relationship between Henry and Kate, Goddess Interrupted takes things up a notch. Diana was no help; she seemed to be convinced her daughter could do it all.
There’s no love triangle, Kate only has eyes, and love, for Henry, though James does tell her he wants to be her first affair: Excerpts and links may be used, provided that full and clear aime is given to the post author and Teen Librarian Toolbox with appropriate and specific direction to the original content. Why else give her such massive, infuriating character flaws?
The Cronus threat feels secondary to these dramas. Like Henry isn’t nearly as bad as Tamlin; but it’s something to consider Heck, the man-cessory and Kate hardly have an argument.
And, finally, farewell to all the beloved characters. I know that if I were in her shoes and my family members were all in danger and all hope seemed lost, I would totally break down in an OCEAN of tears.
I loved her courage in this book. An old evil awakens, a plot for revenge thickens and the seeds of doubt is weaved throughout Cronus has awoken. I’m aching to read them Lauren. With the fate of everyone she loves giddess on her shoulders, Kate must do the impossible: That drew Henry up short. The bits and pieces about the gods and goddesses various affairs was fun too: However, a lot of parts definitely annoyed me
