It’s quite good in presenting the main parts of osteology, from the anatomy of the skeleton to measurements, basic analysis and pathology.

Sarah Lynn rated it it was amazing May 10, And so it goes Vonnegut, He goes into great detail and far away from the main bones, making it hard to follow sometimes. Again, the book is now over twenty years out of date so the latest techniques and developments in the science are not to be found here.

These remains provide vital clues to unraveling man’s antiquity—their position and location, relation to other remains, state of preservation and “medical” condition all provide important information on ancient man and his living environment.
